Autobell Car Wash, LLC (“Autobell”) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of the personal information they maintain. On April 7, 2024, Autobell learned certain systems within our network environment were affected by a data security incident. Upon learning of the issue, Autobell alerted law enforcement and commenced an immediate and thorough investigation. The investigation aimed to determine the extent of the activity and whether individual personal and health information, if any, may have been accessed or acquired by an unauthorized party.

After an extensive forensic investigation and document review, we discovered on September 24, 2024, that between April 1, 2024 and April 7, 2024, a limited amount of information stored on our network may have been accessed and/or acquired by an unauthorized individual.

The potentially impacted information includes full names, addresses, driver’s license numbers, passport numbers, Social Security numbers, medical information, health insurance information, financial information, and tax identification numbers. The type of impacted information varies by individual and not all elements were necessarily impacted.

Autobell understands the importance of safeguarding individual personal information, and we remain fully committed to maintaining the privacy of personal information in our possession. Upon learning of the event, Autobell took immediate action to protect the individual personal information it maintains. Additionally, we continually evaluate and modify our practices to enhance the security and privacy of personal information and are taking measures to augment our existing cybersecurity.

We have no indication that information has been misused for identity theft or financial fraud as a result of this incident. Nevertheless, out of an abundance of caution, on October 22, 2024, Autobell began notifying indivudals whose personal information may have been impacted to the extent Autobell had their last known address. Autobell reminds its employees and customers to remain vigilant in reviewing financial account statements on a regular basis for any fraudulent activity. For those inidviduals whose Social Security number was involved, a complimentary credit monitoring membership has been offered.
